You know how there are some days where you wake up and just simply feel blah. Some are more prone to depression than others. That lack of motivation, inability to concentrate and low energy levels. All too familiar.
Mine comes in cycles. Normally triggered by an event or incident that happens at a moment when I’m in a more fragile state than normal. I have learned that instead of fighting and ignoring it, it is easier to recognise the symptoms and to ride the wave. I don’t mean that I let myself sink to the depths; just sort of go along with the ebb and flow.
