The children and I walk a lot. It’s our main mode of transport. We see more and discover more than, say, taking a bus, train or car. I can’t drive anyway, which leaves me with just the bus and train options.
On our little journeys a pied, the kids would see things that I, an adult, don’t normally notice. Things at their eye level or because they are present in the moment while I’m not.
